Il mare lo ha trovato di nuovo — come si trova qualcosa che si era perso — e ha cominciato a lavorarci. Le onde lo hanno rotolato avanti e indietro, stagione dopo stagione, fino a smussare ogni angolo.

La forma a cuore non era prevista. È successa. Il mare non sa cosa sia un cuore — eppure ne ha fatto uno.
